Second Colloquium
’Fundamental Problems of Turbulence
and their Relations to Geophysics’,
Sept. 4th to 9th 1961
by The organizers - last update 13 September 2011
On the occasion of the inauguration of the Institut de Mécanique Statistique de la Turbulence (IMST) in Marseille, Professor Alexandre Favre has organized two international colloquiua devoted to turbulence.
The second colloquium, entitled ‘Les problèmes fondamentaux de la Turbulence et leurs relations avec la Géophysique’ (Fundamental problems of Turbulence and their relations to Geophysics), was held from September 4th to 9th 1961.
The proceedings were published by the Journal of Geophysical Research (JGR), 67(8), 1962 (copyright AGU).
