Turbulence Colloquium Marseille 2011

On the occasion of the inauguration of the Institut de Mécanique Statistique de la Turbulence (IMST) in Marseille, Professor Alexandre Favre has organized two international colloquiua devoted to turbulence.

 The first colloquium, entitled ‘Mécanique de la Turbulence’ (Mechanics of Turbulence), was held from August 28th to September 2nd 1961.
The proceedings were published by CNRS in Colloques Internationaux du CNRS, 108, 1962 (copyright CNRS).
Most papers are in English, besides those of Alexandre Favre, Andreï Nikolaïevitch Kolmogorov and Jean Bass which are in French and Russian.
