Revue de presse TCM1961

by The organizers - last update 9 November 2011

The following papers were written by journalists from the three main newspapers published in Marseille in the sixties: Le Provençal (left wing), Le Méridional (right wing) and La Marseillaise (communist).

Those papers presented the two successive colloquia that Prof. Alexandre Favre was organizing in Marseile, from August 28th to September 9th 1961, and explained to the layman the issues that were discussed there.

It is interesting to also read some of the news which happened during those two weeks: a Soviet nuclear bomb test, the plot against de Gaulle, a flood in Marseille following two months of drought...

Those papers have been scanned by Michel Coantic, Marie Farge and Kai Schneider at the library l’Arsenal in Marseille.
